Every two years, CRNNS launches an online survey and invites all registered nurses and nurse practitioners in Nova Scotia to participate and share their thoughts and opinions with us. The survey data helps to inform the programs, project and services we offer on behalf of the public and, in the past, has shaped new regulatory programs, new professional practice resources and new ways to offer regulatory services that best meet the needs of the nursing profession and the Nova Scotia public.
All nurses in Nova Scotia will receive an e-invitation to the survey today, Monday June 11. The invitation will be delivered to each nurse’s inbox through MQO Research, a third-party survey provider, who delivers the survey, analyzes the data and helps keep the results anonymous. MQO Research is a leading Atlantic Canadian survey provider and a Goal Seal member of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association.
Recently, we also launched our annual public survey to collect similar information. As the regulator, we make decisions that are in the best interest of the public and this survey is one way to connect with Nova Scotians and better understand their perspective on a variety of regulatory topics. Overall, this survey is a way to measure the public’s confidence in the nursing profession and to ensure Nova Scotians are satisfied with the care provided by nurses in Nova Scotia. This survey began on May 30 and was also administered by MQO Research.
If you have any questions about either survey or have receive an email from MQO with the survey link, please reach out to Hillary MacEachern, CRNNS Communications Consultant, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
