Hello – and Happy New Year. May 2016 be filled with happiness and good health.
On behalf of CLPNNS/CRNNS, we wanted to thank you for your input, insight and interest in the work currently under way to explore the feasibility of moving to one nursing regulator. This is a significant undertaking, and your engagement is a central part of the process.
We are pleased to inform you that we have hired Halifax Global Inc., to help us with our research and outreach. You may be familiar with the firm. A management and communications consulting group, Halifax Global has extensive experience working in the health, regulatory and not-for-profit sectors. They have also worked with other professional colleges such as ours. We’ve already had our first meeting and preliminary work has begun on putting together a work plan to guide the project.
The next step is to develop a consultation plan that will inform our research and ensure ample opportunity for members, staff, key stakeholders and others to have input into the process. Your contribution is critical.
As we continue our work in this area, we will keep you updated on developments and progress. We’d also appreciate hearing from you. If you have any questions, please contact us through Shelley Farouse, administrative support to the Joint Working Group at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll respond promptly and, with your permission and where appropriate, we will share your questions and suggestions with others.
