Important Information on Continuing Competence Program Audit

Each year NSCN randomly audits a predetermined number of nurses in Nova Scotia to complete the Continuing Competence Program (CCP) audit. The purpose of the verification process is twofold. Firstly, it enables NSCN to verify that you have met the requirements of the CCP. Secondly, it provides the public with the assurance that the nursing profession is committed to continuous learning and growth in an ever-evolving health system. Nurses can be selected to participate in one of two processes:

  1. Declaration of Compliance Survey
  2. Submission of your Professional Growth Plan

Nurses who were randomly selected to participate in the CCP Audit process received notification via email on February 16, 2024. The audit process must be completed by April 16, 2024.
