Please note: The 2018 Education Forum has reached capacity and registration has closed. We are excited to welcome more than 400 guests to our event, double the audience of years past.
If you are still interested in attending, please watch for emails from CRNNS in April in the event that we are notified by registrants that they cannot attend and more seating becomes available. If this occurs, a message will also be placed on the website and on our Facebook page.
If you have any questions, reach out to the CRNNS team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join CRNNS at a new venue this year to celebrate the 2018 Education Forum, Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Awards Banquet. Held at Pier 21 on May 10, 2018, the day is free of charge and features an exciting group of speakers and sessions.
To illuminate our 2018 Education Forum theme, Looking Forward Together as Nurses: Making a Better Future for Nova Scotians, we are offering new sessions, new speakers and a brand new venue on the Halifax waterfront.
Our goal is to provide unique forward-facing education sessions to help nurses prepare for the opportunities of the future and in order to provide the best care to Nova Scotians. This year’s sessions will be focused on hot topics that are top of mind for nurses today such as the future of the nursing profession, cannabis use, RN prescribing and more.
Thanks to feedback from last year, we are introducing new changes to keep our event fresh, innovative, cost-effective and to continue meeting the needs of our guests. On top of our popular Keynote Address and Closing Commentary and the 2018 AGM, we are excited to add 2 new sessions this year:
The day will conclude with the 2018 Awards Banquet to celebrate our award recipients.
This year, our event is moving to a new, fresh space. Our event will be held at Pier 21 on the Halifax waterfront. Pier 21 is a National Historic Site and was the gateway to a new life in Canada for one million immigrants. Its history as the start of a new future for many Canadians makes it the perfect location for this year’s forward-facing event.
Register by April 10 and be entered to win one free night accommodation in Halifax during our event!
The first 150 registrants received free parking at Pier 21 for the day of the event. The promotion is now over and parking at Pier 21 will be $10 for the day.
