Mandatory Education Area

New this year, participating in mandatory education is a requirement for all nurses in Nova Scotia as part of the Continuing Competence Program (CCP). This year’s topic is Resolving Professional Practice Issues (PPIs). Although it may sound daunting, you can complete the mandatory education in as little as three steps:

  1. Pre-Quiz: participate in a pre-quiz to help you identify the learning areas you may want to focus on as you progress through the education. Click here to get started on this step.
  2. Education: learn about resolving professional practice issues through one of three ways: join a live webinar session, watch a recorded presentation online or complete a workbook. Click here to get started on this step.
