Developing a learning plan based on self-reflection and a self-assessment process is a large part of the Continuing Competence Program (CCP). In fact, you must develop a learning plan in order to meet three of the five CCP components this year.

To develop a meaningful learning plan and meet the components of the program, you must participate in the following three steps:

  1. Self-Reflection: participate in a process to examine how your personal values and beliefs affect your approach to situation. Click here to get started on this step.
  2. Self-Assessment: participate in a process to think about how your own practice compares to the standards of practice using the self-assessment tools developed by CRNNS. Click here to get started on this step.
  3. Develop a Learning Plan: develop a prospective plan on how you are going to learn and grow as a nurse based on what you have learned through your self-reflection and self-assessment processes. Click here to get started on this step.
